Would you like to participate in a cooking class in Tuscany with children?
No problem, with Opera in The Kitchen it will be a fun time for them too!
During the experience in our villa in the Florentine Chianti area we leave room for creativity and manual skills to the guests, especially if there are children. Everybody will be challenged in the kitchen and will really have to get their hands dirty because our Chef and Lucrezia – experience creator – will only be the guides of this event.
For children, who spend little time at home, it is a new way to spend time in a familiar and intimate environment and engage in a new challenge: the kitchen! Both small and large will have their own apron, thus becoming real cooks. The children will feel like adults and will be able to smell the ingredients gathered together in the garden, to knead the homemade pasta, to taste the dishes but also to be outdoors…
Everyone in the group will work to create the dishes to serve at dinner, everyone will have their own ingredients and and their own tools. You will discover the recipes, the ingredients and then you start to get dirty!
A fun way to get together and have an educational experience.
- During the event we will provide everything you need to cook.
- After the experience we will send the recipe book, to be able to replicate everything together with at home.
- Pay attention to food preferences and food allergies.
Our time with Lucrezia was magical! An evening in the Tuscan hills … Walking among the olive groves, sipping Prosecco, admiring breathtaking views, meeting interesting people, cooking our Italian food, being serene while we enjoyed our dessert – who could ask for more ?! Lucrezia was warm and welcoming to our family and made the evening fun. Our two children, 8 and 4, loved the experience and were amazed by the beautiful harpist and soprano. This was a memorable moment for all of us … Thanks, Lucrezia! LOUISE
We really enjoyed our evening. It was very relaxing and, after having cut the chard from the garden, we learned how to prepare a fresh, simple and delicious meal of chard mousse, fresh artichoke sautéed with homemade pasta, chicken cacciatore and tiramisu. We helped prepare our meal, watched the sunset, sat by the fire, ate our meal, and then listened to the opera, sung for us a few meters away. It was the first introduction to the work of my children (9 and 12) and could not have been better. They loved it! And my husband and I were in tears. Very beautifull! Thanks, Lucrezia! LISA
The host was extremely friendly. The location is very pretty. And our children had a great time making pasta and caressing the dogs that were hanging around hoping for sweets. It was just after Christmas and the place was well decorated with a warm fire. You will enjoy this experience and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation. MARK
