A fun, hands-on experience for anyone who wants to discover new recipes, improve their cooking skills, or simply enjoy a delicious moment around the
stove. We’ll share a few themed menus or lesson options to choose from (e.g., handmade pasta, Tuscan classics, vegetarian meals, traditional desserts…). After you’ve selected your favorite, we’ll bring all the ingredients and cook side by side with you! Perfect for beginners and passionate food lovers alike. Printed or digital recipe booklet included. Great for singles, couples, families, or small groups.

We were gifted a session for 6 by an Italian relative and had the best time! The recipes were step by step, with extra coaching for when we had questions. We enjoyed it so much that I have purchased another session for early next year. I highly recommend, especially for far flung families, as the lesson is a chance to "get together" electronically.

We enjoyed such an outstanding evening in a picturesque villa in the Chianti region of Tuscany. Cooking class was fun, entertaining and educational for all skill levels. The Opera singer made the night most memorable! Several of our group were teary-eyed as her lovely voice made such a strong impression. Bravo!! Highly recommend!!

Walking into Opera In The Kitchen feels like stepping back in time. The home, built in the early 1600s, carries a rich history that you can sense the moment you enter. It’s like cooking with Nonna herself, warm, authentic, and filled with tradition.

Lucrezia and her team are not only talented chefs, but also incredibly welcoming hosts. The entire experience was one of a kind: we laughed, drank wonderful wine, cooked delicious food, and capped it all off with an opera singer whose performance was the icing on the cake.

I also had the chance to stay in the House of the Rooster which is an ancient Tuscan Villa and was every bit as magical as the cooking experience. It felt like an extension of the storybook atmosphere.

If you’re visiting, I highly recommend scheduling Opera In The Kitchen and staying in the Villa. It’s an unforgettable experience I’ll treasure, and one I plan to repeat for years to come.

Lucrezia and her team created a fun, interactive, delicious experience! We were part of a group of 8, and Lucrezia was able to keep everyone involved, and participating fully in preparing the meal. The dinner was outside in a beautiful setting. It was my partners' 60th birthday and she added extra touches, like birthday candles to dessert, that made it even more memorable. Thank you Lucrezia!!

Our night at Opera in the Kitchen was truly magical. Lulu not only taught four of us how to make a true Tuscan meal with ease and joy, but then surprised us with an unbelievable soprano opera singer during our candlelit dinner. Such a gorgeous setting in a truly historic villa surrounded by the vineyards, vegetable gardens and herbs that sourced the meal we worked on and devoured, top to bottom.

We are so grateful for an unforgettable experience and highly recommend it to anyone, including those who live near-by!

Opera in the Kitchen was an incredible experience! The location is absolutely stunning and Lucrezia and her team provide a warm and engaging welcome. My husband and I booked their pasta cooking class on Cesarine and it was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The experience provided history, intimacy, and a true farm to table experience with a lovely walk through their vineyard, harvesting herbs from their garden, and fresh ingredient cooking. Dinner with strangers was nothing short of amazing sharing quality time over a delicious meal, prosecco, and wine. A beautiful opera singer was presented, and the performance was stunning! A thoughtfully curated experience - Would highly recommend!

My evening at the Opera in the Kitchen was nothing short of enchanting! From the delicious home-cooked dinner we made with fresh, local ingredients (from their garden), to the delightful wine tasting at their charming vineyard, every moment was a treat for the senses. The highlight of the night was the enchanting opera performance, which set a perfect, timeless ambiance (over dessert & limoncello!). The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our family of four had an AMAZING experience. The hosts arranged for pick-up in Florence, which made getting there easy and convenient; our driver Stefano was very kind. We made cavatelli from scratch and other dishes with the help of the friendly and helpful Chef Cristina. The dishes that we helped prepare all came out wonderfully and tasted so fresh. We loved hearing about the history of the villa that the experience takes place in. Everything was delicious… from the wine made on the property to the pannacotta we had for dessert. The cost of the experience is extremely reasonable for all that is included. Last, and certainly not least, the opera performance by Sabrina was outstanding. I feel honored to have had this experience, and it is something I will remember always!

Our family of four had an amazing experience at Opera in the Kitchen. Lulu and her fabulous staff made everyone feel at home. From touring the grounds, picking our vegetables, preparing the meal and finally eating the final product….every step was organized and inviting. Making the entire group feel like family. We walked in as 15 strangers, but walked out as friends exchanging contacts. The opera serenade during dessert was the icing on the cake!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our family loved this experience! This was so much fun. We made two different types of pasta as well as a dessert. We started out picking fresh veggies from the garden that we then incorporated into our meal. Our kids had a great time as well and made the dessert all by themselves when they thought was neat. Fantastic experience!!!! We spent a day in complete serenity and joy, preparing typical traditional dishes. Lucrezia and Cristina are true hosts, competent and friendly. The moment dedicated to opera singing made this day even more pleasant. Wow! This was an evening we will never forget. This was one of many experiences we had on our month long vacation in the area and it was absolutely the best one! Totally worth every penny! The host was excellent, the class was very fun and the opera was wonderful! Who knew a group of strangers could have so much fun together and leave as friends! The whole experience was 5 stars. My husband and I did this while on our 2-week honeymoon in Italy. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Lucrezia was so friendly and helpful, the property was beautiful, the food we cooked was delicious, the wine was plentiful, and the opera singer was just phenomenal. We don't like to cook, but the lessons was fantastic.
They both gave us a family fill.
We are recommending a lot.
The garden very nice. You eat your dinner at the sunset.
And after that you have the opera show at the patio

Opera in the Kitchen

This was a wonderful event at so many levels. It gives the international traveler a way to connecting with fellow travelers from around the world in a comfortable, fun setting. Conversation flows easy as you prepare evening meal together under the guidance of an experienced chef, drink wine and eat together.

Our group was interacting with one another as if they were old friends. This event made that possible in a unique way. The cooking class was top-notch, everyone on the team was polite and professional.

After dinner we enjoyed wonderful opera selections accompanied by classical harpist.

This event exceeded my expectations. It was very moving. I would highly recommend this anyone traveling in the area. Hats off to Lucrezia and her team.
